Independent and ad-free. We earn nothing from any lounge, booking site or card issuer. This is information only — always confirm current prices and access rules on the lounge operator's own website before you travel.

You do not need business class or airline status to use a lounge at Dubai International (DXB). Pay-per-use lounges such as Marhaba and Plaza Premium sell time-based day passes to any traveller — pre-booked online or, where space allows, as a walk-in. At DXB these passes are usually priced by the length of stay (for example 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours) rather than a single flat rate.

Why an independent view matters

Most lounge "guides" online earn a commission on every booking, which shapes what they recommend. We take nothing. The honest summary: a paid lounge at DXB buys you a quieter seat, food and drinks, and Wi-Fi — it does not fast-track immigration or security. Given Dubai's very long transit times for many passengers, a few hours' comfort can be worth it; for a tight connection it rarely is.

Pay-to-enter lounges at DXB

Independent (non-airline) lounges that sell day passes at Dubai International include Marhaba (Terminals 1 and 3) and Plaza Premium, alongside other pay-per-use options. Locations and opening hours vary by terminal and concourse, so check what operates in your terminal on the day. Marhaba lounges are described as open 24 hours and welcome all passengers regardless of airline or cabin class.

How paid access usually works

Best for whom

Because lounge prices and access rules change often, confirm directly with the operator and check what is open in your terminal on the day.
